Originally coined to be the holding name for a multitude of personal web projects, WEBOSIS has also developed into the home of my SEO Services, thus becoming an “Internet Marketing Consolidation,” of sorts.

Let’s see… what do you need to know about me…?
I’ve been online since my high school years in the mid-90s. I rocked out the AOL dial-up and surfed with AltaVista.
During my college years, I took what I was learning in class and applied it in real world situations for a multitude of school organizations. This is how my interest in marketing, advertising, and promotions grew. After dipping into a variety of majors (including Computer Information Systems, Business Management, International Business, and Marketing), I eventually found myself deeply engaged in Corporate and Organizational Communication, which is what I received my bachelor of science degree in at Northern Illinois University.
Orange County and the Professional Life
Immediately after I graduated college in August of 2003, I packed up and drove from Chicago to Southern California to try something new and begin my life in the real world.
I found a position with Advanced Access – a leading real estate website design, hosting, and internet marketing firm (which has since been acquired by Dominion Enterprises – a large media and information services conglomerate). I was there for a few years, during which I advanced from sales to website marketing. You could say that this is when I discovered SEO, but as I began learning and implementing the core techniques, I realized that I was performing search engine optimization years ago, before I even knew what it was called!
See, prior to discovering the actual process of SEO, I was utilizing my knowledge and experience in marketing, advertising, and promotions and transferring it to the online medium for a variety of projects in college. With no previous web development experience, my logic and instincts led me to implement what I later found out to be along the lines of the best practices in web standards and SEO.
Since then, I grew to adopt other organic search marketing strategies, as well as usability and conversion analysis to supplement my SEO efforts. This has led me to incorporate a holistic SEO strategy, which I use to deliver not only high search engine rankings, but traffic and conversions, as well.
It is this philosophy, and my knowledge and experience that led me to become the inaugural Search Engine Optimization Specialist for Experian Consumer Direct – the direct-to-consumer arm of the worldwide information conglomerate, Experian.
There, I developed and executed a holistic SEO strategy, working on some of the highest traffic generating web properties in the highly regulated financial industry:

After Experian, I moved back to the agency side of the industry to manage and direct the SEO campaigns for the high-profile clients at Argus Interactive Agency – an award-winning search marketing and web development firm (which has since been acquired by DGWB – the top ad agency in Orange County). There, I worked with a variety of websites, from small and medium enterprises to global brands in the following industries:

Throughout my career, when I wasn’t on company time, I was performing research and working on my own sites. Analyzing, tweaking, testing, checking, reviewing, washing, rinsing, and repeating. However many years of experience I have at this point could easily be doubled for the amount of actual time I have put in.
